I worked with the Water Resources Policy and Management area on efficient management of water and wastewater resources. I was also part of the team working on water energy food nexus. I have been working on research for the sustainable development of the Himalayan Region and impact of climate on Himalayan cryosphere. I was part of the team for the “Brahmaputra River Symposium: Knowledge Beyond Boundaries” which helped share information about the basin as well as to gain from the experience of experts working on other transboundary rivers.We had evaluated the impact of 11000 crore special package for drought mitigation strategies in the parched Bundelkhand region.Worked on the initiation of stakeholder dialogues on interstate Water Sharing and Use in North India specifically the states of Punjab and Haryana.I had worked on developing water indicators for urban areas in India.I am part of the team working on the project “Water Conservation through Rejuvenation of Pond with Participatory Community Engagement”I had co-authored a discussion paper on “Aligning India’s Water Resource Policy with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” and I am currently working on developing another discussion paper on Sanitation and SDGs in India.I had managed the first U.S. alumni meet for 2017

I am a team member of TERI Glacier scientific expeditions, where we collect data for glacier mass balance, black carbon concentration and set up of scientific equipment on the field.I worked on several water projects.Completed several projects when the entire team left.

Working under Dr. Shresth Tayal on deglaciation in the Himalayas. I gained experience for field work in very high altitudes. I had estimated the loss of snow cover area in the three chosen benchmark glaciers using GIS. I had ascertained reasons as to the difference in their reaction to climate change.

It was one of the best times of my life and I owe it to the teachers and the wonderful students. I was a volunteer and had the responsibility of managing their concerts, fetes and sports and supervise the other volunteers. I also helped in the screen printing department and the card making department. I had to teach students how to dance, act in skits, sing and play basketball and other sports. I also helped out with the school work.I would like to be there again.
