I am currently working with Mu Gamma as a Senior Research Scientist. My expertise are Water resources management, River Basin Management and policy expert, Environmental Pollution, Waste Management, Capacity building, Sustainable Development, Miyawaki Forests Professional, Technical writing. I worked on the Safe Reuse of Treated Water (SRWT) in India focusing on SRTW business model recommendations and the development of a Compendium; Synthesizing City Climate Plans under Accelerating Climate Action through the Promotion of Urban Low Emission Development Strategies (Urban-LEDS II) Project; India-Norway cooperation project on capacity building for reducing plastic and chemical pollution in India (INOPOL), International Knowledge Hub on Plastic Pollution https://ikhapp.org/; International exchange on monitoring SARS-CoV2 in wastewater organised by Mu Gamma Consultants with Hessen Trade, GIZ and NMCG. I support and train staff to produce effective and timely products and I am a social media and outreach coordinator for MGC, INOPOL and IKHAPP. I continue in my capacity as an Honorary adviser for Happie Yeti for developing concepts as well as to lead cryosphere research in the Himalayan region as well as provide my guidance on scientific expeditions, education, outreach, etc.Previously I had worked with the Water Resources Division at The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi for more than 12 and a half years. I have been involved in a number of projects related to water and wastewater management, integrated water resources management (IWRM), water-energy nexus, Himalayan glaciers, aquaculture, water use efficiency, water audit and analyzing the impacts of climate change on water resources. I have conducted research on sustainability of Himalayan Ecosystem, climate change impacts and adaptation, IWRM, waste water management, aquaculture, drinking water and sanitation. I was a member of TERI Glacier scientific expeditions, where we conduct research and correlate high altitude hydro-meteorological parameters with their implications on livelihoods.I worked on issues affecting mountain communities, planning and implementation of climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies. I have also been involved with social and institutional aspects, notably community mobilization; community based institutional mechanisms and livelihood enhancement. I have also been working on implementation projects related to enhancing livelihoods of local communities through water resources management through capacity building.
