Hello, my name is Nate and welcome to my profile! I am currently a Senior Data Science Analyst working with the Anti-Money Laundering Modeling team within Discover Financial Services. I am currently refining and innovating our ML models such as XGBoost to better detect and flag money laundering.Previously, I was pursuing a Masters of Science in Data Science at Columbia University. I am also a former Reilly Dual Degree Program scholar, completing a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.A. in Economics (with a concentration in Financial Economics and Econometrics), and a Minor in Engineering Corporate Practice at the University of Notre Dame.
