I am an enthusiastic and self-motivated Software Engineer with a passion for automation. I have developed a broad technical knowledge with Cloud technologies through enterprise and personal projects, especially within Microsoft Azure! I have worked within the Water Utilities industry for the past 6 years. During this time I have delivered many successful Projects that began life as smaller PoVs in IoT. The goals of almost all of these was to enable the company to meet regulatory targets, reduce fines and empower the business through data. Key projects include bringing in telemetry data from external sources via API/MQTT, providing early insights to bursts on the Supply network and building an alert forecasting system for weather events. I have also previously worked in Defence sector and held an SC Clearance.I am well acquainted with Azure DevOps practices and Agile working. My primary development languages are C#/.NET for backend, and ASP.NET MVC, ReactJs/VueJs for frontend. I script in Powershell, Python and bash. My preferred OS is Linux (Redhat) however I'm able to administer both Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
