On May 15, 2010, I relocated to Los Angeles to oversee development of a new line, Open Market, The line is a complete lifestyle collection priced and comprised of Men's and Women's graphic tees ($30), knit and woven tops ($50-$90), jackets ($125-$250), and denim and non-denim bottoms ($70-$110). The core of the line will be produced in China and will spot light emerging brands and designers through higher price point collaborations, which I am currently managing. The first two collaborations are Matias Denim and NLGX recycled bags and will be produced in Los Angeles and Beijing. Open Market will debut at ENK Vegas this February.

*Spearhead and execute all research, design and development of full high-end denim collection.*Partnered with parent company to launch brand from concept to present day design and production.*Responsible for all technical design and development, including technical sketches, tech pack creation and direction, pattern development, fittings and final submissions.*Oversee all product production. Travel to and work closely with *Mexico factory on wash development and final production quality.*Source and negotiate prices for all fabric and trim. Successfully reduced Fall '09 fabric consumption 30% by negotiating special buys of unique, small denim fabric runs, over-dying and re-washing previous inventory, and creating a new core denim group with inventory of '08 Fall styles left over from the economic downturn.*Manage small team of freelance designers, sample makers, pattern developers and PR consultants.*Support sales and marketing initiatives by spearheading trade show concepts, event planning, photo shoots and design direction.
