I have a bachelor’s degree in History from Indiana University. I am passionate about research, analysis, and writing and am very detail-oriented. I love to write, particularly about matters pertaining to history and politics. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Political Science, focusing on American Politics. As a student, I wrote a number of academic papers on an array of subjects, including the French Revolution and World War II. These works often focused on different political, militaristic, and social movements. For my capstone, I examined the differences and similarities of Louis XVI and Napoleon Bonaparte. For my work on this project, I received the Eleanor L. Turk World History Essay Award from Indiana University East. This essay was also published in the university’s academic journal. As an intern at the Department of Veterans Affairs, I wrote over a dozen articles, focusing on the lives and service of specific veterans. This experience was truly a great honor. These articles tended to be around 500 words in length and were written in AP style. Outside of this, my work experience has largely been centered around teamwork, problem-solving, and analysis. I enjoy getting to know people and working alongside them towards a common goal.
