I joined Allstate as a Delivery Lead, Management Consultant leading internal projects to help the enterprise through a variety of problems. I've been able to bring a unique combination of creative problem solving along with a grounded approach to address these issues in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. • Implemented a strategic framework across several high priority areas such as Data & Analytics, Finance, Claims, and Marketing to drive Allstate’s “transformative growth” strategy, creating actionable plans that would result in over $750M worth of impact to Allstate. • Spearheaded an internal initiative to boost employee satisfaction in the key areas of career growth and employee engagement for the AMCS practice. The career growth program led to an increase of 29 points in employee satisfaction and was introduced to other teams at Allstate as a result. • Conducted a root cause analysis to find the underlying reasons for security lapses and created the framework to explain the problem to senior level management. This led to tighter security standards impacting up to $2.3M worth of potentially fraudulent claims.• Constructed a set of strategic priorities for a new product distributing third party pet insurance at Allstate and created a suite of tools to evaluate the progress of those priorities. This allowed the new team to efficiently enter this $2B+ market and begin monetizing their efforts.

I served as a Management Associate in Nationwide's Financial Leadership Rotational Program where I had the opportunity to rotate through different teams in the finance organization and learn how they each approach problems to strengthen the enterprise. Nationwide Financial Annuity Finance• Directed the financial modeling effort for a tier one project overhauling the operational capabilities of Nationwide Financial’s annuity business. I provided the financial perspective on a cross-functional team identifying ways to quantify potential efficiencies across various alternatives.Treasury• Played a key role in the launch of $1.35B surplus note offering by interacting with our investment bank syndicate, compiling information from multiple business units for legal and financial disclosures, and identifying and completing other ad hoc project management responsibilities. • Led project analyzing Nationwide’s issuance of commercial paper and found a more efficient method of financing short term business needs saving over $675k annually. This analysis was shown to the CFO and eventually approved by the Board of Directors. • Drove a project and produced presentation materials for an initiative that will be shown to senior management on an opportunity to have a $4M impact on Nationwide Financial. This included running multiple financial scenarios to find an optimal balance between business flexibility and the needs of different stakeholdersReinsurance Placement• Coordinated a project that analyzed the capital levels of Nationwide’s captive insurance carrier. This included working with four different teams and resulted in freeing $5 million of capital to be more efficiently deployed.• Completed a landscape analysis of peer insurance companies to evaluate our reinsurance strategy against those of our competitors and tracked how those reinsurance strategies had evolved over a two-year period that saw volatility in the property catastrophe space
