Drug Delivery, Immunotherapy, Coacervate, Lipid Particle, Autoimmune DiseaseI generated a layered microneedle system containing coacervate for drug delivery. This system is able to delivery both proteins and small molecules simultaneously. I worked as a Teaching Assistant and managed other teaching assistants in grading, proctoring, and offering office hours for students.My microneedles have tunable release profiles and are highly customizable for advancement of current treatments.I treated, psoriasis, an cutaneous autoimmune disease, using these microneedles to simultaneously deliver both IL-10 and ATRA.I work in a multi-state collaborate team using the next generation of coacervate, lipocoacervate, for the treatment of type 1 diabetes.I mentored and managed undergraduate researchers to perform experiments and laboratory techniques to become their own independent researcher.Advisor: Dr. Yadong Wang
