Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM) is the second-largest student-run organization in the United States. IUDM raises money for the Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. The Dance Marathon is a 36-hour annual event that celebrates the kids at Riley and brings over 4,000 students together to raise money for pediatric health research. At the 2021 Dance Marathon, over $3 million was raised for the kids at Riley Hospital for Children. - Attend weekly meetings to plan for the marathon, organize events with Riley families, and create new ways to support and mentor the kids at Riley- Mentor and support a Riley Children’s Hospital child and their family throughout the year through the Buddy Program- Raised approximately $6,500 individually for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 Dance Marathons by receiving donations through networking, acquiring partnerships with businesses, and participating in IUDM events such as Day of Hope
