About Nathaniel Valenzuela
As I bring to a close my successful Navy career I'm looking to start a new career in the Meteorology field. Even though the Meteorology field is in a completely different career path from an Aviation Mechanic I strongly believe that the disciplines and experiences that I gained can be easily transferred and applied.During my successful military career I have established myself as a skilled and dedicated Aviation Mechanic with the US Navy. My core competencies include managing and auditing the standard and elective Navy training programs, aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting, and navigating high stress and high risk work environments. I am passionate about serving my country and ensuring the safety and reliability of the aircrafts that I work on. I value teamwork, integrity, and excellence, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.As an Aviation Mechanic, I perform various tasks related to the inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft engines and propellers. I also operate and maintain the equipment and tools used for aircraft maintenance, such as hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and the removal and overhaul of engines. While the Navy demands the its very best to protect the nation's interests I have had to work in some of the most dangerous and stressful work environments like on an active flight deck on an aircraft carrier, above the Artic Circle where temperatures and weather conditions can easily threaten the lives of anyone who works on the outside of the ship, and sailed near hostile nations and peoples that cause us to constantly be ready to defend ourselves and our nation's interests. Outside of my standard job I manage and audit the Navy training program that proves comprehensive and qualifying training has been completed by over 900 personnel, train said personnel in the operation of the training programs, and assist in the signing up of extra qualifying classes that certify personnel well beyond the standard requirements that the Navy has established. I have acquired multiple skills and certifications in this role, such as Aircraft Power Plants Mechanical, Aircraft Weight and Balancing, and Aircraft Power Plants Fuel Systems. I am proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving complex mechanical problems, and I take pride in delivering high-quality work.
Listed skills include Residential Homes, Hand Tools, Retail, Procurement, and 2 others.
