Elected by the members of my fraternity to serve as the Recruitment Chairmen. The main responsibility is to recruit candidates who I believe would make a good fit for the house.- Organized the entire recruitment process for Spring Rush of 2022 at Indiana University for Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity.- Responded to covid protocols when a member of my fraternity was exposed to the virus. Made the executive decision to hold rush online via zoom.- Orchestrated zoom rush. Ensured that the link was advertised widely through social media so it could be accessed by as many people as possible. Managed the zoom call and made sure each breakout room had a balanced ratio of active members and candidates.- Balanced the desires of all of the active members to ensure that Sigma Alpha Mu secured a strong group of 30 new members.

Member and Researcher for the Larchmont Historic Preservation Task Force. The group is currently in the process of lobbying for historic preservation legislation in Larchmont, New York.- Performed in-depth research based on academic journals and writeups by several college professors about the implications of historical preservation legislation on both individuals and towns similar to mine.- Formalized research to construct three separate writeups. The first emphasized that historic preservation generally has a positive effect on property values. The second established historical preservation's positive influence on the environment. The third highlighted certain tax breaks that owners of historically significant properties may be eligible for.- Presented my findings (alongside other members of the task force) to the mayor of my town and other members of The Board of Trustees.- Paired with an architectural firm and aided them with fieldwork. Manually entered information concerning historical significance and architecture characteristics on twenty buildings in the commercial district of my town. - Uncovered the history of 10 significant landmarks in my community. Built two separate walking tours (5 landmarks each) where individuals can download an application on their devices and follow a path that leads to each property. When the destination is reached, app users see a lengthy historical summary of the landmark.
