Following fifteen years in a variety of technical and leadership roles, primarily in the oil and gas industry, Nathan has a diverse range of experience in operations, maintenance, consulting, business improvement, and frontline leadership. He is recognised as a big picture strategic thinker, and applies critical thinking to business problems as well as technical problems. Nathan has provided specialist engineering support in: Rotating machinery, vibration and acoustics, plant operations, gas pipelines, gas metering, maintenance and integrity strategies. In addition, he has led a number of project teams to deliver capital projects, operational systems, safety improvements, and cost reductions. In 2014 he led a team that delivered the Operations and Maintenance Readiness scope for an asset base of approximately $5B. In 2015 he delivered a standardised design for CSG wellpads and gathering systems, potentially reducing Capex by 45%. In 2018 he led a fast-track upgrade of the Mereenie Gas plant, on time and on budget. Nathan is currently the Engineering Manager at Central Petroleum; responsible for operations support and capital projects.A Chartered Engineer and RPEQ, Nathan holds a first class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA.
