Head Of Production Budgeting
CurrentIn this role I work with a team of people to put together budgets for individual production companies under the Clerisy Management Group umbrella. These budgets consist of all costs that the companies will require from Incorporation to amalgamation into Clerisy once their purpose has been served. In my role, I coordinate with a team that can number as many as 10 people at times. While working as part of a team, I have successfully budgeted and completed cash flows for 17 individual production companies. This work includes completing detailed budgets in excel that factor in a number of formulas to work out government tax credits and implement them into said budgets. I work closely with various other heads of departments to ensure that the budgets contain what each department will need to successfully execute their responsibilities. I also correspond regularly with the bank to estimate and confirm loan and interest amounts for the companies based off of comprehensive cash flows that I prepare before hand. In this role I also have experience applying for both provincial and federal tax credits to receive funding from the Canadian government, and in turn navigating correspondence with government employees to tackle any issues they may have with the initial applications.
