More than 15 years of building design and construction experience, primarily as an Architect and most recently as a Construction Manager for public works projects representing the City of Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz Libraries, and University of California Santa Cruz. Career has included a diversity of roles (Owner’s Representative, Studio Director, Project Manager & Project Architect, and design firm leadership); and a variety of project types (education, community, healthcare, residential, performing arts, and planning). As a DESIGNER, I am fascinated by architecture’s ability to form and affect culture and deeply inspired by architects who acknowledge and embrace this opportunity. As an ARCHITECT, I am inspired by the rigor of the profession and the exuberant ambition prerequisite to creative problem solving. As a community member, I am compelled to leverage my abilities to affect change in the built environment and cultivate sensitive, practical, and sustainable spaces.
