Specialising in project management and strategic policy development, I’ve worked across many small to large-scale projects in government, non for profit and health and community services. I’m fortunate to work as the manager of the Public Health division’s Strategic Projects team, applying my flexible skillset by delivering strategic advice and projects that matter, in particularly in public health workforce, system design and contract management . Previously worked within NFP organisations addressing health issues and disadvantage associated with tobacco use, as well as research evaluating patterns of care for rare cancers.

Within Victoria's newly introduced Smokefree prisons I was responsible for managing, maintaining and reviewing the provision of smoking cessation support to prisoners and staff. This involved coordinating the ongoing implementation of smoking cessation activities in Victorian prisons, providing recommendations and support to Smokefree Prison Project governance as well as developing resources tailored to address the health and lifestyle needs of prisoners.Additionally, the role entailed leading an international first project that provides pre and post release smoking care to individuals transitioning outside prison to prevent smoking relapse. This involved partnering with organisations that provide transitional assistance for prisoners to increase their organisations capacity to address smoking. Responsibilities required developing and implementing a project plan, monitoring project outcomes and evaluation framework, as well as delivering face-to-face brief intervention training to staff.
