Junior Web Developer
Working as a Digital Project Manager piqued my interest in the underlying code that drives the emails and websites we deliver for our clients. I was given an opportunity to pursue that interest by joining the Development Team as a Junior Front-End Developer. Working predominantly in HTML/CSS/JS I built and broadcast emails, managed CMS websites (WordPress, concrete5, Drupal) and built/pushed live web pages. On my own initiative I created a templated set of emails, increasing developer efficiency, and reducing project lead times.
Digital Project Manager
Given my aptitude for email marketing it was decided my skills would be best applied in the Digital Project Management team. In a similar role to my previous Campaign Director I am responsible for managing projects from start to finish, and for analysing and applying results to help improve the next campaign.My current purview is the digital field, so I manage website scopes and builds, email marketing campaigns, app development and database development.My remit also includes a focus on email marketing, an area in which I specialise. Alongside a colleague I took charge of the Campaign Management team, a group of 13 Campaign Managers and Campaign Directors. My colleague and I ensured a smooth-running, happy department, and the Board praised us on our approach.

Email Marketing Manager - Secondment
I spent three weeks at Marks & Spencer, working as part of their eCRM team, on secondment from balloon dog. I was responsible for managing multiple email campaigns during a busy pre-Christmas period, and was praised for my ability to jump straight into projects, my ease at liaising with key business unit stakeholders, and for my ‘can-do’ attitude. I returned for a second secondment spell in January.
