I am a Partner in the PwC Private business team in our Canterbury office, working with small to medium sized businesses to deliver a full range of business advisory, financial and commercial services. I have a wide range of business skills developed in the commercial and chartered accounting fields since joining PwC in 1998. I am passionate about helping clients grow, developing plans and working with them to ensure successful implementation.I effectively act as the CFO for a number of businesses of various sizes. My core business and financial skills complement my entrepreneurial, market driven perspective and a common sense approach. I also specialise in providing strategic, financial and management advice for public sector clients throughout New Zealand, and take an active role in the financial operations of these entities.In 2015, I was honoured to be nominated and selected to participate in Genesis Park - PwC's premier global leadership development programme (http://www.pwc.com/gx/en/about/genesis-park.html). As a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, I have held a number of governance roles on boards and committees for various incorporated societies and non-profit organisations.Hailing from the South Island, I find balance in my life by enjoying numerous outdoor activities including; running, cycling, kayaking, adventure racing and cricket.
