Responsible for rationalising, refocussing and refreshing QGC exploration portfolio to deliver new growth opportunities.

Responsible for delivery of tight gas sand and shale gas exploration programs in the Cooper and Bowen Basins.

Manage subsurface team responsible for delivering a multi-well deep gas exploration program in the Bowen Basin. Co-ordinate with support functions (e.g. land access, environment, cultural heritage) to ensure readiness to execute program.

Led a regional geological and geophysical evaluation of deep prospectivity in the Bowen Basin culminating in business support for a play-testing exploration program.

Member of a small cross-business team delivering business and strategic planning for an integrated tight-gas upstream / midstream LNG venture. Maintained and evolved an area development plan modelling tool to facilitate rapid assessment of development scenarios from reservoir to market.

Worked with drilling and seismic teams in conjunction with contractors to standardise and improve the approach to road safety for operations in country. Improved and embedded journey management, and in-vehicle monitoring systems in the organisation and amongst contractor community.

Led evaluations of new business opportunities across the Greater NWS - undertaking geological and geophysical evaluation, defining value proposition and progression through internal approval process. Provided portfolio management and business planning support to Exploration Manager.

Undertook play-fairway evaluation to support proposal of first ultra-deepwater well drilled in offshore Lamu Basin. Prepared and delivered farm-out technical presentations and hosted data-room prior to drilling.

Two Miocene oil discoveries resulting from integrated geophysical and geological evaluation of complex structural / stratigraphic traps including 3D trace and volume interpretation, AVO attribute and DHI analysis. Responsible for pre-drill pore pressure predictions for all wells and real-time monitoring for deep Cretaceous wells drilled from 2003-2005.

Worked across range of exploration and development assets providing specialist trap and pressure analysis support. Regional mapping and prospect generation in the Timor Sea and Browse Basin.
