‘Through the Cracks’ is a short social issue documentary exploring the challenges faced by Irish families living in emergency accommodation. I directed this multi award-winning documentary portrait of artist Kevin Nolan, who was diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder at 19 years old. Diagnosed at 19 years old with schizoaffective disorder - which has been described as the ‘unhappy marriage of bipolar and schizophrenia’ - Kevin Nolan began writing music to regain some of the freedom he’d lost.

My 2015 documentary, 'Fallen Bird', co-directed by myself and Deirdre Mullins, premiered at the IFI Documentary Festival in September and won the Audience Award for Best Short Documentary.
