Just finishing up 17 years of competitive swimming, I am taking on a new challenge in attempting my first year of coaching on the high school level. My plan involves helping establish not only a winning program, but a successful one, in which athletes set for a set a list of SMART goals for themselves and they achieve them by the end of the season. I not only plan on serving as a coach, but as a mentor to the kids in my program. This is the program that helped me grown and I want to do the same for anyone who steps on our pool deck.Currently, I have passed my FBI/BCI, PAV Certification for the state of Ohio, both my Fundamentals in Coaching and Concussion in Sports Certifications from NFHS, and my CPR Certification through the New Philadelphia Athletic Department.

As a program engineer, I help determine molded and extruded rubber sealing solutions for customers in a variety of market. These markets include Building and Construction, Vehicle and Transportation, and Distribution. These solutions are determined based on the parts application, material specifications, and environment. As I've grown into the role, I have worked more in larger scale projects, that require more oversight than more basic designs and processes. These experiences have leaned into more work, bordering project management.

As an engineer at Lauren, my primary focus is in the role of Applications and Design. I work with all facets of our team, including Customer Service, Tooling, Quality, and Planners, in order to help design and create the best, and most functional, polymer-based part for all of our customer base. By using primarily AutoCAD and SolidWorks, I am able to utilize customer drawings and customer information to help determine which designs are most feasible and in what manners we can help improve their design needs. I am also able to help find and determine information pertinent to quote and move forward with in different projects.

While I was a Lab TA, I would help set up labs and grade homework for the Physics professors. After I helped set up labs, the completed assignments would be given to me. I also helped tutor Physics 102 and would help grade homework assignments for the professors.

While at the Tubar-Eureka Industrial Group, I primarily worked on projects involving Tubar products, Beldenbrick products, and customer parts. I used 2D AutoCAD to draw different parts and weldments for customized loaders & dumpers with the full-time engineers. Various parts such as crossarms and plates would be drawn up and approved before being sent out with the Bill of Materials for the shop to create. For Beldenbrick, I would measure and drawn mailbox flags and fire pits as part of the Brickscape designs. I would also be given multiple electrical blueprints that would need to be redrawn onto AutoCAD. Customers from different companies would call in and want different parts (such as gears and plates) that needed to be made to their specifications. As the intern, I was also responsible for drawing those and getting them sent to the shop for production before the due date passed.

I worked a various amount of jobs while employed by New Philadelphia General Services. I worked here for three summers before moving on to a new place of employment. While working, I collected trash with the Sanitation Department, recycled products with the Recyling Department, worked tree-trimming and pothole patching with the Street Department, and weedeated and mowed multiple locations within the City of New Philadelphia with the Landscaping Department.
