We help B2B SaaS companies steal the "secret sauce" of unicorns like Drift, Gorgias, Segment, by helping them implement semi-automated outbound programs. Inspired by Guillaume Cabane, the "mad scientist" of growth.(1) If your sales process is already working, we'll help you dramatically scale it without increasing your headcount.(2) If you're looking to hire your first SDR, consider us, instead. We'll help you intelligently figure out where to focus instead of an SDR that may blindly grind. Then, we'll help you automate. When do you hire your first SDRs, they'll be answering emails that your automated SDR is generating every day.The four founders have deep expertise in different aspects of B2B SaaS, and you'll be working directly with us.

  • Pandadoc
    Head Of User Research
    Pandadoc Jun 2020 - Mar 2021
    San Francisco, California, Us
As teams grow, empathy for customers becomes much more difficult. The result: irrelevant products that fail to resonate with customers. Poor products lead to slowed growth. As a rapidly-growing team, PandaDoc's PMs, Designers, and Engineers faced many additional layers of challenge: time zone, cultural, and language barriers made it even harder to connect with their primarily USA-based users. My team pioneered methods that worked for PandaDoc's unique situation; research was sold and enabled internally and resulted in:- Better UI/engineering quality, with more on-target products- Cross-department collaboration to solve customer problems- Increased in-product conversion rates
  • Pandadoc
    Pm Growth & Insight
    Pandadoc Jan 2019 - Jun 2020
    San Francisco, California, Us
After my promotion to PM Growth & Insight, I doubled down on using research & customer empathy to lead to a dramatically better product for customers.I internally sold, launched, and fanned the flames of a NPS (customer centricity) program that captured the imagination of the company, from the CEO to senior leadership, all the way down to individual contributors in sales and product. This fervor was necessary to address the insidious problems that the NPS program unearthed; without the addressing of two of these changes, the company could have had a very different trajectory.Ultimately, the resulting uplifts in NPS due to key product changes led to increased faith from investors and certainly didn't hurt PandaDoc's $1bn+ valuation soon after.
  • Pandadoc
    Revenue Engineer
    Pandadoc Aug 2017 - Dec 2018
    San Francisco, California, Us
Created and ran a breakout conversion-rate optimization program:- Created multiple double-digit uplifts, with a 3x-industry-standard A/B test win rate- Implemented a scalable, repeatable process that was usable after I was promoted- Collaborated across sales, marketing and product to test and implement wins
  • Letter Friend
    Head Of Growth
    Letter Friend Mar 2016 - Jul 2017
    Hackensack, New Jersey (Nj), Us
When I joined Letter Friend, the organization was in a state of passivity. Deals came in entirely through inbound; in my work with the team, we turned the organization from an entirely passive one, into a proactive one, driving growth.We:- Used research to narrow in on the most profitable clients- Re-made the website to improve the conversion rate of visit -> paid and- Used a process to test a variety of channels which led to increased revenue and new ways to grow
  • Raisal
    Software Developer
    Raisal Jul 2014 - Jan 2016
    Coral Gables, Florida, Us
I worked as employee # 1 with the team at Raisal to build and grow the raisal.com platform, from scratch, to:1. A proof of concept that helped investors see the light, and ultimately led to funding2. A product that attracts many commercial lenders and borrowers in the United StatesMy roles involved:- Software engineering- Product manager- Interim scrum master
  • Bitsplit
    Founder
    Bitsplit Feb 2014 - Oct 2014
BitSplit was a single-paged bitcoin-based game; I led development and conceived of and executed many experiments that helped us grow. Here, several wins hammered home the power of incentives, of simplicity, and of eliciting customer feedback early and often:Some of our wins:- A referral program with the right incentives helped us grow cheaply and rapidly.- A continued focus on simplicity helped with user experience as well keeping engineering efforts on our core issues.- Our learning accelerated rapidly as we began to do deeper research on our customers. We ultimately decided to shut this venture down, but I went on to work with one of my co-founders at Raisal.---Note: Given the chance to start this business again, I would not -- primarily because enabling gambling (a behavior that can be harmful if taken too far) is no longer aligned with my personal values.
  • Lemonfree.Com
    Software Developer
    Lemonfree.Com Mar 2012 - Jun 2014
    Winnipeg, Mb, Ca
I built and grew a platform, from the ground up, to automatically scrape and centralize data from many car dealership websites.Unlike other services, I created a frontend that could be maintained by a non-programmer, thus making the system much more scalable and maintainable than other solutions at the time. This ultimately enabled end users to have more options when searching for a car, thus positively impacting revenue for the auto-search site.
  • Itk Information Services
    Technologist
    Itk Information Services 2010 - 2014
Identified the need for, advocated for, and ultimately built a platform that transformed the way ITK Information Services does business. The platform has led to dramatically decreased costs, better team coordination, and overall higher quality. This platform has now been used for over a decade to create reports for high-profile clients such as:- Uber- DreamWorks- Blizzard Entertainment- Universal Studios- And many more household names---"Nathan first started working as a media analyst with ITK. In this role he learned first hand that our process was terribly inefficient - requiring our analysts to repeat menial tasks in order to complete reports. Determined to find a solution, not only did he he proactively reach out to me with suggestions, he ultimately built the software that we use everyday. I would estimate that this program (Report Mule) has cut our analyst time by at least 30%, included the ability for multiple team members to collaborate on one report, and added a level of managerial oversight that we previously lacked. In addition we are now able to deliver much more sophisticated, data-driven reports to our clients. While Nathan single-handedly built the entire program, he was also very hands-on with developing our marketing and sales strategies. In all cases he strikes a good balance between meeting our needs and offering very helpful guidance. He consistently considered how each small decision fit in with our company’s big picture objectives. He is able to effectively translate complicated technical issues into an easy to understand cost-benefit analysis. Throughout our project Nathan worked remotely and was always responsive to our needs, requiring no managerial oversight. Perhaps most importantly to me, though, is that Nathan is someone that I trust completely and that I truly enjoy working with."~ Christophe Abiragi, CEO of ITK Information Services
  • Aegobooks
    Founder
    Aegobooks Feb 2009 - Jan 2010
I found a hole in the market that allowed buying cheap textbooks on eBay and selling them Amazon via a particular function of eBay.I worked with developers to build software to automate this arbitrage, and I created systems to streamline my employees' workflows. This project ended when the particular function on eBay to acquire books cheaply, at scale, was closed off.--For a couple of semesters I supplemented my inventory by buying back books from students at the college; the second time I bought books I implemented a referral program that helped to, effectively, turn many students into salespeople; this helped to spread the word at a low cost to me, and allowed me to focus on the operational aspects of my business.
