I am Nathanael Melkisedek Coulibaly, and I am particularly interested in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems and Smart Cities, with a strong background in civil and transportation engineering.I have completed a Master of Science in Civil and Transportation Engineering at South China University of Technology. During my master's program, I conducted a comprehensive investigation into the influence of existing roadway infrastructures on the driving behavior of fully automated vehicles. This research endeavor encompassed extensive simulations, requiring expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Python programming. By successfully designing the control system for autonomous vehicles using MATLAB and conducting thorough data analysis with Python's machine-learning algorithm tools, I enhanced my understanding of the requirements for autonomous vehicles in future transportation systems. Furthermore, this experience instigated my enthusiasm for Transport Planning, Policy, and Deployment.Throughout my academic journey, I have developed expertise in various tools and technologies. I am proficient in using PreScan, a platform for autonomous vehicle simulation, as well as MATLAB/Simulink. I am skilled in Python, MATLAB, SPSS, Stata, Excel, and Origin. Additionally, my computer skills include Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint. My language proficiency includes French as a native language, along with proficiency in English and Chinese. This multilingual ability allows me to collaborate effectively in diverse international environments.I have published research papers in international peer-reviewed journals, including one on the influence of highway space alignment degradation on AV trajectory deviation and another on determining post-speed limit values on freeways. I have also presented my findings at conferences such as the World Transport Convention (WTC) and the COTA International Conference of Transportation Professionals. For further information or collaboration opportunities, please feel free to reach out to me.
