● Structure bills of material for all new products.● Create shop floor routers.● Check blueprints for accuracy and proper tolerancing to ensure parts can be produced on the shop floor. ● Create and implement engineer change notices.● Review and verify manufacturability of new product designs.● Root cause analysis of shop floor issues.● Continuous improvement projects.● Design and create drawings for quality control check fixtures

● Develop the vision and goals for the Production Team.● Schedule all phases of production by creating time lines that all departments must follow.● Ensure machine tool builds are completed on time and to customer’s specifications.● Ensure machine documentation is completed and ships with machine including system prints, user manuals and safety materials.● Work closely with engineering and customers to ensure proper machine functionality. Ensure proper components are installed and valid designs are incorporated on machine tool build.● Initiate setup of machine to produce good parts within customers Cpk specifications.● Perform “Run-off” at Inter-Motion and ensure machine is accepted by customer● Help in engineering department with machine design via Solidworks and AutoCAD as needed.● Identify and lead continuous improvement projects● Get all production employees engaged in safety, quality and continuous improvement.● Determine appropriate staffing level and hours.● Prepare annual Production budget.● Maintain accurate performance dashboard, measurements, files and records.

● Ensure machine tool builds are completed on time and to customers specifications.● Ensure machine documentation peripherals are completed with machine and shipped to customers.● Work closely with engineering and customers to ensure proper machine functionality (Ensure proper components are installed valid designs are incorporated on machine tool).● Initial setup of machine to produce good parts within customers specifications.● Perform preliminary runoff and work with customers to qualify processed parts.● Perform “Runoff” at Inter-Motion and ensure machine is accepted by customer.● Perform Runoff at customers location to ensure final machine acceptance.● Help in engineering department with machine design via SolidWorks and AutoCAD as needed.● Sole Project Responsibility.

Manufacturing Engineer Duties● Create process routing for new jobs ensuring that all customer specifications are met. Reduce manufacturing cost of repeat jobs by reviewing manufacturing processes.● Program and provide setup information for four Haas CNC mills using Surfcam programming software.● Responsible for designing and overseeing the building of form dies and fixtures.● Nest and program CNC plasma and CNC turret press● Program Bystronic laser using Bywork nesting and programming software.● Created 3D models along with production drawings for production floor.● Designed mill, drill and weld fixtures.● Machine justification and plant floor layout.● Worked with production when process or design changes needed to be made to ensure customer satisfaction.● Design and supervise the making of fixtures and form dies for new products and the retooling of existing jobs. ● Purchase materials and hardware to build tools necessary for production of parts.● MRO purchasing● Aid Estimating department in bidding of jobs. ● Supervise CNC machining area to produce parts and tooling to meet customer due dates.Additional Duties● Supervise four departments including welding, paint, assembly and packaging. ● Plan and schedule all daily production requirements to meet customer needs and expectations.● Responsible for meeting quality, productivity, inventory costs, and departmental budget.● Ensure a safe work environment for all employees. Meeting company goal of zero OSHA recordable accidents for each area.● Disburse disciplinary actions when company policy is violated.● IT duties include setup, maintenance and upgrade of all computers, routers, and servers.
