I've transitioned full-time into launching my own venture Petsly, a pet management solution born out of the frustration surrounding the lack of technological advancement in the pet ecosystem. I have run multiple experiments and launched an MVP that is currently onboarding users in the Western Cape.

In my role as a Strategic Product Manager at Holican, a dedicated jazz, funk, and blues platform, I have driven the development and market launch of our product over the past two years. Collaborating closely with the founders, my key responsibilities include:Product Strategy & Roadmap: Crafting and executing a clear product roadmap that aligns with Holican's mission to connect artists with fans while offering unique features such as merch sales, subscription options, and a Pinterest-like content experience.Market Positioning: Developing and refining our value proposition, ensuring Holican stands out in a niche market and effectively engages our target audience.User Experience & Engagement: Working with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience, focusing on content accessibility, seamless monetization for artists, and an engaging experience for fans.Go-to-Market Planning: Leading the product's market introduction, including launch strategies, user acquisition, and feedback collection to guide product iterations.This role has allowed me to blend my passion for startups and Web3 with my product management expertise to create a platform that connects audiences and artists in a novel way.

Based in Cape Town, Chateau Chez is a growing property management and rental family business with exciting times ahead. We leverage cloud-based software to optimise our holiday lets, communicate with owners, share calendars, rental reports and deliver a great personalised service.

My current role within The Delta sees me working in two different streams, working with both corporates and founders to help validate or invalidate their business ideas or drive innovation within their organisation.Stream 1: Lead Venture ManagerI lead a team of high-performance venture managers through our process. These ventures are funded by a number of corporates and seek to drive innovation, access to markets, and additional revenue streams for corporates.Stream 2: Venture ArchitectI work closely with founders in refining their ideas, assisting them in developing their strategy, de-risking the venture and execution.

Cape Availability is an online B2B portal, connecting short-term rental agents rental availability with excess demand from fellow agents.Status:- Closed.Still, a viable idea and need for this type of product, the product I developed wasn't simple enough for the many interested parties to import all their properties easily and seamlessly. A complete website overhaul would be needed for this to succeed and the advent of Covid destroyed the momentum Cape Availability acheived.

Buddyrider is a dog seat for bicycles where you can take your pooch along for the ride. I fell in love with the product so much I decided to import it into SA. Its been an exciting journey thus far, learnt a lot and looking forward to learning more.

A Welcome Gift is about supplying holiday let owners, rental agents and property developers with custom curated gift packs containing locally sourced products for new homeowners or holiday goers. We follow a simple process:➢ Customer sends us a brief➢ We create a Pinterest mood board based on the brief➢ The client selects their desired option➢ We deliver amazing bespoke packagesBusiness Status:- Closed.This was a great learning experience, the main takeaway was that " just because you need a product or service, doesn't mean everyone else does, or is willing to pay for it". In this instance there was a desire for the product, jus not a willingness to pay for the service.

An online based branding and stationary e-commerce site I took over from a friend, my first real introduction to the e-commerce space.
