I advised senior management on deal negotiations, bid strategy, and value considerations. I advanced to direct the evaluation process, including all aspects of presentations and evaluations - valuation modeling, land analysis, and asset development planning, among others. These promotions solidified me as team lead and a recognized me as a top performer at EQT. I earned the President’s Award for outstanding performance and contributions during the 2016 acquisition campaign where we executed three acquisitions for combined considerations of ~$1.1B. I led an update and refinement of the company’s consolidation strategy that included reaffirmation of core assets, geographical areas of expansion and divestment, and expected competitor strategy and capability.

I joined EQT in 2013 with an interest in combining my background alongside an existing operator to drive inorganic growth and further develop my transactional skill set. As a senior analyst I would conduct deal evaluations and prepare presentations for investment decisions. Additionally, I researched and summarized emerging market trends, changes in competitive landscape, and acquisition target developments. In 2015 I spearheaded the multi-department evaluation and ranking of 20 acquisition targets and presented the findings to executive management. The outputs from this exercise were used as the basis for EQT’s consolidation strategy in 2016 and 2017.
