My role as Design Engineerging Manager is to ensure the effective coordination of design works across multiple disciplines, facilitating that design outcomes are optimised for delivering projects on time, on budget and to the desired quality standards. I have recently managed the delivery of the detailed design for the Aldoga Solar Farm, including the closeout of all open comments. I contributed to the success of the project procurement processes and have provided key engineering support to the all parts of the project through the construction phase.It's been important to create and sustain effective communication flows between the site based construction team, our design consultants and with internal technical resources, based locally and internationally. I have developed effective and productive relationships with all stakeholders, maintainign a clear focus on outcomes that will support successful project delivery.Key elements of my role are ensuring that Safety in Design and Value Management activites are robust, comprehensive and followed through to completion.I have added value to project outcomes through the application of Value Management throughout the project development and delivery life cycle. I have managed and provided improvements to the design change management process, ensuring that the effect of changes on project cost, schedule and performance are fully validated and endorsed by affected stakeholders.

Verdia Pty Ltd designed, developed and delivered Solar PV (roof and ground), Lighting Retrofits (LED), Energy Storage (batteries) and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) projects nationwide.As Engineering Manager, I provided technical leadership to the Engineering team in the design, development, and delivery of multi-site projects, including rooftop and ground mounted solar, corporate PPAs, energy storage, virtual power plants and LED lighting. I managed, and evaluated tenders on behalf of customers in line with Verdia’s technical standards and specifications, ensuring that all Verdia specifications, Australian standards (AS3000, AS4777, AS5033, AS2067) and industry guidelines were met.I developed and reviews engineering and document control procedures for reports and engineering documentation across the sales and delivery process, secured grid connection and conducted construction and commissioning site visits undertaking activities as the Owner’s Engineer.I also managed Verdia’s ongoing service and warranty support in addition to asset performance reporting and monitoring the performance of Verdia’s systems on a detailed and regular basis.I provided day-to-day supervision of team members, task allocation, provision of technical advice, mentorship and team development activities.Over the last 7 years I have helped deliver over 50MW of rooftop PV and multiple single site projects in the MW scale, including programs for Stockland, Coca-Cola Amatil, National Storage, Storage King and Opal Aged Care. These projects created value, reduced costs and achieved environmental targets.
