Designed sequencing primers to amplify the genomic sequence of each mutant gene for each mutant DNA strain using Vector NTI software. Perform gene knockouts and knockins utilizing polymerase chain reaction (PCR) techniques. Analyze gene insertion/deletions through gel electrophoresis and Southern Blot analysis. Conduct comprehensive metabolic profiling of Neurospora crassa fatty-acid biosynthesis through the use of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and Chenomix software.

Provides marketing support to assigned recruiters throughout the state of Michigan, northern Ohio and northern Indiana. Assists the Senior Trainer and Production Superintendent in the management of $100,000+ in advertising and community relations budget annually. Develops and monitors promotional literature and utilization. Plans and conducts newly assigned recruiter marketing and sales training.
