I went to college at Cedarville Univeristy, majored in Electrical Engineering, and did Air Force ROTC through school. I graduated May 2015 with a EE major and minors in Bible and military studies. In school, I worked on a couple extra-credit projects included a programming algorithm to segregate abnormalities in a human lung, part of my medical imaging class. I also helped build and program a line-following robot for my mirocontrollers class. My senior design project focused on integrating a motor controller with an all-electric vehicle that went to competition in the Shell Eco-Marathon in Detroit. My task was to help design the motor controller PCB and find which motor would be most efficient. In October of 2015, I went active duty with the Air Force. In my first assignment, I finished as an Orbital Analyst Instructor for the GSSAP (Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program) doing Space Situational Awareness (SSA). My second assignment was at Buckley AFB in the Space-Based Infrared System performing missile warning as a mission management operator and deputy flight commander. I was selected for a RPA-Space exchange program in 2020, and recently moved to Las Vegas and am stationed at Creech AFB. This program was created by General Raymond and General Holmes as a way to increase situational awareness in both domains and better prepare for advanced threats. As the Survivability Cell Flight Commander, I will spend 2 years developing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for the RPA community to perform in a Contested, Degraded, and Operationally Limited environment, now and in the future. In May 2020, I completed my M.A. in Public Policy, International Affairs with an emphasis on the Middle East. I hope to one day utilize this degree by completing a tour in the military as a Foreign Affairs Officer (FAO).
