I always knew finance was for me. From optimizing processes to effective collaboration, I excel in turning challenges into opportunities. Putting myself through school has been one of those challenges.I attend the Belk College of Business and I expect to graduate in Spring 2025. I am currently a Finance major with a concentration in finance and accounting. Math is what makes sense to me, the satisfaction of everything fitting together. Finance is the backbone of every organization, my mission is to exceed expectations and be efficient at any job I do.I am a results-oriented professional with a strong background in the Service Industry. I possess 3 years of experience in teamwork and communication focused jobs, with a proven track record of achieving efficient results. My soft skills include communication, cooperation, intrapersonal/interpersonal skills, and problem solving. I am learning to be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Powerpoint. I am dedicated to continued growth and I have a strong desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment. My goal is to leverage my expertise to contribute effectively to the financial services industry.A problem I endured in the service industry was dealing with unsatisfied customers. When I first started working I struggled to effectively solve gaps between customers expectations and the service provided. Now I relate to the customer and genuinely care about their perspective. Effectively communicating with the customer allows me to understand their needs, and for them to understand what I can do for them. This has allowed me to grow into a more effective employee, as well as being able to meet expectations, and even surpass them.
