I have dual role responsibilities including Project management and Product management over two product lines, two brands, and 20+ models. As product manager for Compact Excavator and Wheel Loaders product marketed under Gehl and Mustang brands, I am expected to be the resident expert on our products as well as our industry expert. I use my knowledge of the construction equipment industry in conjunction with my engineering background to analyze competitive models and features as well as help to develop innovation in future Manitou models. I'm continuously collecting VOC feedback and evaluating each project's return to most efficiently use our engineering resources. Other responsibilities include, strategic product pricing, BOM creation, rationalization of product options and features, collecting market information, product training, creating product definitions, and preparing annual executive product summaries. Project management responsibilities require project timeline development, resource planning, creating project definitions, and gated product development presentations.

As a Project Engineer with Gehl Company I am responsible for the design and analysis of components used on off-road construction equipment. I am also required to source components and review specifications to verify compatibility with my designs. I play and integral role in the design process however I also delegate some of the responsibilities to designers and design engineers. I also create and edit bills of material in our ERP/MRP system.

Design engineer with broad experience with many manufacturing processes. I have had the opportunity to work on projects ranging from designing the electrical system for an asphalt paver to designing fiberglass hoods for articulated wheel loaders. I have experience with sheet-metal design, hydraulic component design, thermoform plastics, and sourcing various purchased components such as mirrors, seats, and latches. I have experience using FEA to verify design integrity.

During my internship with CAT I performed routine horsepower tests and operator ear tests on Caterpillar Challenger series tractors. I also assisted with the design and development of the engine assembly including air intake and exhaust routings.
