I am a professional artist based in Chicago, IL. I continue to work throughout the country as an actor, writer, director, & SFX makeup designer in the areas of Theatre, Film, & Television. As a proud AEA & SAG/AFTRA actor with over 30 years of experience, I am represented as an On-Camera, Theatre, & Voice Over Artist by DDO Artists Agency - Chicago. Aside from acting, I work regularly as an award-winning writer, director/producer, and special effects makeup designer for stage & screen (including work on the feature films: Everything, Above Ground (featured on SHOWTIME), The Rake, Shadow Bound: The Motion Picture, the OSCAR-nominated, Winter's Bone (starring Jennifer Lawrence), and MEAD (starring Robert Picardo and Patton Oswalt). I also regularly teach classes & workshops in Acting, Directing, and SFX Makeup throughout the Midwest (including Northwestern University's Cherubs NHSI Film Institute program). As of May 2nd, 2017 I have officially started as the Co-Artistic Director of the Springfield Contemporary Theatre in Springfield, MO. The Springfield Contemporary Theatre, a non-profit corporation, presents a wide variety of year round productions. SCT is currently located in downtown Springfield, Missouri, at the corner of Pershing Street and Robberson Avenue in Springfield's most immersive venue SCT’s Center Stage at Wilhoit Plaza. Housed from 1995-2012 at the Vandivort Center Theatre, past productions include such landmark area premieres as Hair and The Rocky Horror Show to Nine: The Musical and The Goat or, Who Is Sylvia?SCT is dedicated to the production of contemporary works and works that can be re-energized through a contemporary view and through an intimate staging while using outstanding directors, local actors and guest professionals throughout the season. Springfield Contemporary Theatre is a member of Springfield Regional Arts Council and the Downtown Springfield Association.
