Developing and supporting Model Based System Engineering artifacts for advanced and distributed DoD projects.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for upwards of 140 vehicle features, ensuringcompliance with Ford's quality standards.• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure the reliability anddurability of Ford trucks including F-150 and Superduty.• Utilize tracking tools and frameworks, such as JIRA, to streamline vehicle testing processes, improveefficiency, and enhance test coverage for both hardware and software components.• Conduct testing milestone efficiency review, compile data from historical test data to identify processinefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.• Work closely with design teams to perform root cause analysis of identified issues.• Conduct vehicle-level testing, including on-road and off-road testing, to validate system performance,reliability, and overall vehicle quality.• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and defecttracking records, to ensure traceability and enable effective communication.

• Responsible for implementation and testing for password-based vehicle ignition functionality. Managedsupplier to debug feature operation of both software and hardware components.• Designed a unique system to detect presence of rear-seat occupant to then initiate a chime at vehicleshutoff to remind driver to check rear-seat, to prevent forgotten occupants.o Awarded Patent No. 11,097,659 for this design.• Responsible for white paper design of backup manual control interface for autonomous vehicles.• Supported camera-based feature devolvement., specifically responsible for final design work for in-vehicle camera system.• Developed and launched highly distributed features, with cloud and vehicle impact across CommonGlobal Electrical Architecture (CGEA) 1.3 and FNVx architecture vehicles.• Applied Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to effectively capture andcommunicate system designs, ensuring a systematic and well-documented approach to vehicle featuredevelopment.• Utilized the AGILE framework, enabling efficient iterative feature development.• Utilized SysML (Systems Modeling Language) to create system architecture models, facilitating a visualrepresentation of system components, interfaces, and interactions.• Employed Failure-Mode-Avoidance (FMA) techniques to proactively identify and mitigate potentialfailure modes and risks, enhancing the overall safety and reliability of the developed features.• Acted as a liaison between cross-functional teams, including design and release, software, program andplatform teams, facilitating effective communication, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment onproject objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

As an FCG I rotated through 4 positions within Ford over the course of 2.5 years. My first rotation was as a Design and Release Engineer on the 2015&2017 Ford Mustang. My second rotation was as an Electrical Systems Integration Engineer for the 2017 Ford Escape. I did development work for Hybrid Powertrain Systems Controls, and finished up the program with a rotation in Active Safety and Lane-Keeping Aid.

Electrical Systems applications and support for the 2018 Ford Escape. Worked with production and manufacturing engineers to make sure the launch process went smoothly and delivered an exciting and desirable product to the customer.
