I represent labor unions in all of their legal needs. This includes providing general legal advice on operations to ensure compliance with DOL Regulations and the LMRDA, representation of the union and its members in litigation, arbitration, mediations, and administrative agency trial and hearings, and representing union clients in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements.My representation of unions and their affiliated benefit funds has included representation before state courts in Nevada, Oregon, and Washington, federal trial courts in those states, the Nevada Supreme Court, Washington Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. I have argued issues of first impression important to labor unions and Taft-Hartley benefit funds under ERISA and the Railway Labor Act before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. I have also represented union clients before the NLRB, NMB, Nevada's EMRB, the DOL, the Nevada Equal Rights Commission, Nevada DETR/ Unemployment, and the Nevada Labor Commissioner.Outside of representation of labor unions, my practice has included preparation of contracts and agreements, and litigation of disputes concerning performance of contracts and agreements across a variety of industries.
