• Created the Finisher Data Exchange using SonicWall, NAT Polices, MS SQL Users, Views, Stored Procedures, Roles and ODBC. This allowed remote vendors to provide Absecon with real-time information about our products stored in remote warehouses.• SQL Server Admin, responsible for managing the MS SQL Server and maintaining Data Normalization through Entity Relationship Modeling (ERM). Also created, modified or removed Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Users, Roles and the Database Maintenance Plans as needed. • Streamlined manufacturing processes and improved Customer Service by using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.• Responsible for defining problem areas, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions and turning those conclusions into business rules.• Saved the company an average of $150K per year by implementing rolling scales to verify length of fabrics after inspection. By using the serial port to communicate with the Cardinal Scale we were able to calculate what the length should be based off the weight.• Saved an average of $40K per year by introducing Sonic Welders for attaching serial numbers to fabrics.• Updated or re-wrote dozens of reports in Visual FoxPro 6.0 (VFP) and Crystal Reports and where applicable created Stored Procedures or Views in MS SQL to speed processing time. Most queries had to be re-written due to poor execution planes. Updated the Crystal Reports Data Dictionary when structural changes are made to MS SQL.• Created the Hot List by modifying VAM to include a new form, timer, T-SQL and SQL where users could receive critical information pertaining to customer’s orders. Employees were aware of problems with-in three minutes of the data update. Used C# to create a system try program using balloons to notify users of defects in production.
