Being president of SeaBEC allows me to help guide this great organization founded to provide a forum for those in the building industry to 'discuss issues and exchange information regarding all aspects of building enclosure,' because we believe in the sharing of our knowledge to improve the built environment and push the development of building science.

Through out my time at OAC I was a leader in the BE|FAE group and in the company as a whole. I managed the condominium and multifamily projects building enclosure practice. I marketed our services to HOA boards and managers, proposed on reclad and repair projects, produced design documents, and provided field observations and quality assurance services throughout the construction process. I lead teams of structural engineers and building enclosure specialists to I was the face of OAC at trade shows presenting to managers lawyers and attorneys, and also represented OAC at local and national Building Enclosure Council Events.As a leader within OAC I managed the Morale Committee for 6 years as chair or co-chair, we created a successful peer to peer award program called the Osprey Awards, instituted a program of birthday and anniversary recognition, and hosted annual company wide events including summer picnics or cruises, and annual company wide holiday party. I also established a Job Site Safety Committee which addressed the needs of of OAC's workers on a variety of sites around the country, including a PPE program suited to our work and locations and a company wide safety plan. I also represented the interests of our group of architects and engineers to the companies construction management and operations groups in a variety of collaborative cross company meetings.

He has been providing architectural services for OAC since early 2012. In his role as a Senior Architect he is providing analysis and investigation necessary to successfully solve issues that arise in our client’s best interests. He develops and coordinates design and repair documents that concisely describe the details required for sound buildings.Since joining OAC, Nathan specializes in the design and investigation of building enclosure systems. Nathan’s versatility and depth of knowledge makes him a valuable team member.

Provide design services to construction clients including consultation on design and construction budgeting. Designed additions and remodels to meet clients' needs and budgets. Lead construction projects in the field from start to finish as a lead carpenter responsible for product and material ordering, day to day scheduling and client communications.

Manage all aspects of design from initial client meetings and design proposals to construction documents and contract administration. Market DCS to potential clients and collaborators. Provide innovative solutions to client's challenges while minding budgets. Projects focus on residential additions and remodels, kitchens and master suites. Oversee all fiscal, regulatory, and monetary aspects of a small business.

Provided design services to clients of the general contractor, prepared design and construction estimates, scheduled projects and ordered materials. Managed development projects from feasibility prior to purchase through construction to condominium conversion. Created budgets for projects from $20,000 to $5M. Researched and obtained materials and alternatives to satisfy owner and designer specifications.

Managed projects including a 3 building, 100,000 sq.ft. mixed-use office over retail/restaurant from inception and site planning to construction management. Responsibilities included directing a team of designers and drafters, preparation of design review submittals, presentation at public meetings, producing design documentation, supplying specifications, reviewing construction estimates and contract administration. Design and permitting experience in single and multifamily residential, office tenant improvements, secure data centers and public parks.

Built a large variety of projects including new construction additions and renovations. Rough framing, sheathing, siding, finish and casework installation and everything in-between for a variety of contractors. Building on early construction experiences I developed new skills quickly to become adept at disassembling and reassembling buildings from tilt up concrete bio-tech labs, Victorian home remodels, to new contemporary single and multifamily homes.
