Previous role was Climate Systems Application D&R on the Ford Mustang Mach-E for High Voltage AC Compressor, High Voltage Liquid PTC Heater, Condenser, Battery Chiller, and Climate Control specific NVH attenuation components. HVAC Development Engineering for Nissan current production vehicles. Development consists of quality improvements to current production vehicles as well as generating and implementing cost reduction ideas. Implementation of quality improvements and cost reductions includes designing new components, obtaining part quotations from potential/current suppliers, on boarding new suppliers as a Calsonic approved supplier (QCDDM), deciding test procedures to validate any given design change, working with customers to obtain approval to modified designs, working with cross functional team to efficiently launch a design change, component and system level drawing release, deciding critical dimensions suppliers are to meet for any given component, and many more development related processes.

Support Calsonic Kansei project engineers in the release process of automotive components and assemblies. A lot of hands on work; giving me an experience that allows me to learn the fundamentals of the automotive HVAC. Learned a lot pertaining to heat transfer, air flow, cost reduction, best practice plastic injection techniques, injection mold design, mold flow analysis, and material science.
