Responsible for anything & everything IT/digital related at ALS Labs Ltd, along with design & machinery programming for bespoke works, assisting in CAD work, handling BIM projects, and otherwise filling the gaps in our family business. Starting off by spending a year on the shop floor in our factory constructing furniture, operating and programming our CNC machinery, then moving into the office with full time CAD responsibilities before adopting the IT hat, I've a varied skillset including experience at every level of designing, manufacturing, and installing laboratory furniture for clients across the UK.Outside of the business, I've previously been a Trustee and Treasurer at the county level of a rural youth charity; a role involving taking on the financial side of an annual 20k+ attendee agricultural show in Essex, along with Chairman, Treasurer and Secretarial roles at a smaller level.
