5 month grant to research & build tech in the areas of consumer finance, debt, and bankruptcy.

- Restructured the product development process into narrowly focused product groups with dedicated engineers. - Led 8 person product team responsible for all core ecommerce functionality including: consumer web and native apps, key components (search, discovery, checkout), product marketing, merchandising/vendor tools, and customer service tools.- Led 3 person product design team working to rebrand and launch new web and native apps.

- Helped it grow from 1 to 16+ employees. - Designed and released native apps for iOS & Android as well as responsive web app.- Built out the visual brand identity.

- Designed and launched our first mobile learn to code app for iOS. Generated over a million downloads in the first week.- Wrote content and designed a unique learning experience for the launch of a new intro to front-end web development course.- Worked with Pentagram on the Codecademy visual rebrand and worked to build it into our digital products.

Worked on the initial native iPhone, iPad, and Android family of apps plus responsive sites across the Quidsi brands: Diapers.com, Soap.com, Wag.com, and 7 others. Saw millions of app store downloads, multiple app store features, mobile growth go from 0% to over 35% of revenue. One woman in her own words was “bat crap crazy in love” with our Diapers.com iOS app.

Moved to Asheville North Carolina after college to start a live music & recording space with some friends. It didn't work out but we put on some good shows and had fun.

Taught English in El Puerto de Santa Maria to 11-13 year olds for 3 summers while in university.
