PresidentThe Stelter Company Jun 2019 - PresentDes Moines, Ia, UsI love this industry and am blessed every day to work side-by-side with, not only some of the best charities & fundraisers worldwide but, an amazing team of passionate client advocates here at Stelter. The work that our clients do on a day-in-day-out basis is truly remarkable and we're proud to help them raise the money to make it possible! Our goal at Stelter is to assist charities nationwide in identifying, engaging and cultivating their most loyal donors to make transformational legacy gifts that fulfill donor passion and purpose while enhancing programs and services critical to the betterment of society. We do this by utilizing a very purposeful approach to client engagement and on-boarding that allows us to truly become an extension of our client's teams and build legacy programs that not only produce results but speak to donors on a personal level. My personal goal and charge to our team, our clients and this industry is to continue to lead by example as we continue to build programs based on scientific-data, pave the way with industry changing research and focus on the ultimate goal of connecting people and their passion to purpose by way of personal philanthropy! -
Vice PresidentThe Stelter Company Jun 2009 - Jun 2019Des Moines, Ia, UsWithin any growing company, your responsibilities will include a little bit of everything…from product development, strategic partnerships and marketing consultation to client services and corporate marketing. My primary concentration and passion is ultimately being the biggest cheerleader and supporter for all of the Stelter staff and our clients. From a day-to-day standpoint that entails overseeing Stelter's 14-person consulting and marketing teams and working with our amazing leadership team to forge the way with new research, new innovations and smarter ways for charities to raise planned gifts. Over my short 19-year career in planned giving marketing, I've been fortunate to speak to hundreds of fundraising professionals at over 100 national and regional industry meetings on planned giving marketing, marketing trends, and cutting-edge donor research and have even been quoted in Planned Giving Today, Advancing Philanthropy and other trade publications. Last year I was humbled and honored to accept a nomination to join the board for the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, it's been 7 years since I last served on the board of the National Capital Gift Planning Council (Washington, DC) and I'm looking forward to this challenge! When I'm not at my Stelter desk, I enjoy spending time with my family (wife-Nora; kids-Ben, Brody and Brynn; and Brussels Griffon pups-Lola, Bubbles & Fergus), CrossFit, playing soccer, bicycling and being a diehard Hawkeye, Cubs, ManU and Caps fan. -
