Werdsmith is an AI-powered writing studio for creative writers and one of the highest earning productivity apps on the App Store. At age 19 and with no prior experience, I built and launched the app and grew it to over 50,000 active users. Today, Werdsmith helps aspiring writers with every part of their writing process, from coming up with story ideas, to setting and achieving writing goals, to breaking through writers block with AI writing suggestions.

Over half of Gen Y lives pay-to-pay, a product of our buy-now-pay-later culture. We set out to solve this problem with a debit card that drip-feeds you a portion of your salary every day, as an alternative to budgeting. We raised $2.2M in seed funding, and by early 2020 we had thousands of customers transacting over $1M per week on our Wildcard-branded Mastercards. For many of our users it was the first time they were able to get to the end of a pay cycle with money in their savings account. Covid hit during our Series A round and forced us to shut down the company.
