For 22 years I worked in youth and/or young adult ministry in a variety of churches and organizations including the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian (USA), and United Methodist. I've organized and planned countless youth and young adult events, retreats, conferences, and camps. Written curriculum and developed resources for numerous churches and organizations including for CYMT (Center for Youth Ministry Training). I've lead workshops at the Association of Youth Ministry Educators Conference, APCE (Association of Partners in Christian Education), among others. I wrote a book on theology and youth ministry called A Faith of Their Own: A Theological Field Guide for Youth Ministry. I'm a trainer for Soul Shop a faith based suicide prevention workshop.
