I was the first full time iOS engineer at SkinIO (ECD-Network at the time). Prior to my employment there was a prototype mobile application designed and built by a consultant. I was brought in to replace the consultant and turn that prototype into a complete application.I completely redesigned and rewrote that original prototype application into a reactive and scalable universal application for all iOS devices (not just the tablet from the original prototype).Through this role I:* Planned and outlined a complete set of endpoints necessary to fully support the application -- Worked with the API engineer to implement these endpoints -- Later transitioned into managing this structure full time (see Lead Engineer @ SkinIO) -- Re-imagined data structures to handle the needs of the iOS application and flow from a customer point of view* Rebuilt Obj-C MVVM Application into a MVC Model in Swift with full Autolayout* Designed tiered network/model layer for long term support of multiple applications with shared core components* Reduced/eliminated in-field failures: Increased application and network stability
