In the practice of water law, my focus is on permits, fights, and regulatory compliance counseling. I am honored to represent clients across Texas and beyond on critical water supply and water quality projects. Whether it's securing a water rights authorization or litigating critical water quality policy issues, my practice involves the complexities of both administrative advocacy and disputes before courts and administrative judges. Clients depend upon us to address policy issues and practical problems. Water law is a complex web of governmental regulation overlaid upon private property interests, with a heavy federal component. As such, we navigate state and federal requirements and rely upon knowledge of administrative agencies and their staff to achieve successful results for clients. On a daily basis, we are involved in projects concerning permit conditions, water supply planning options, enforcement defense, and federal requirements (often involving EPA, the Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife, among other agencies). I am proud to represent the interests of the regulated community in the development of water supplies for growing populations and tailored regulatory requirements that are achievable and protect water quality.
