Nathan brings over 25 years of experience in the packaging machinery industry and holds qualifications in Business, Accounting, Electrical and Pneumatics. With a lineage spanning three generations of packaging and manufacturing, Nathan took over running his father’s business, Rentafill in the mid 90's spending more than 10 years building it before it was sold. He then built Packserv Australia and then Packserv Manufacturing. Packserv is one of Australia’s leading packaging equipment machinery and technical services business operating Australia-wide. Nathan has always been a strong advocate for Australian onshore manufacturing and works closely with academic bodies and university institutions for the innovation and development of materials, manufacturing processes and technologies that can be utilised and adopted by the industry and manufacturers at large. He is on the Board of APPMA, Australia’s national packaging and processing machinery association.

With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, South Australia and Western Australia, and a rental fleet of over 100 different types of packaging machines, we are the largest rental company operating in the FMCG market space. We support the smallest ‘cottage’ businesses as well as large scale international operations. Through nearly 30 years of experience our team of trained technicians can be on the road 24/7 to provide support to all the users of our quality machines.Packserv also provide access to spare parts, consumables, and ancillary equipment via the Packshop portal which can be accessed via our website at www.packserv.com.au.Over the years Packserv has earned a reputation for knowing what ‘help’ means to our customers. Our highly trained and experienced technicians are happy to advise on production processes as well as how to fit the correct machine for optimum process improvement. Our dedication to providing the best available equipment has led to Packserv acquiring some ‘best in class’ equipment from a few international suppliers who have chosen to partner with us to make a range of machines accessible to our customers along with the technical support that reduces down-time and enhances consistency of production.In conjunction with our own range of filling, capping, conveying, tables and transfer handling machinery we can supply complete turn key production lines. We have machinery readily available through our rental division, and can supply brand new equipment from our manufactured and imported ranges, over 250 different machines are available.

I spent more than 11 years building Rentafill before it was sold. As General Manager i was responsible for all aspects of the business, in the early days i was operating as a sole proprietor so was across all the technical, logistics, accounts and billing, website development, sales and marketing, repairs and break downs, and everything in between. It was an amazing experience i am grateful for taking the business from my fathers garage to Australia's then largest and most well known and respected machinery and technical service supplier to the packaging industry.
