Involves helping young people through workshops, presentations and direct mentoring, helping with funding, grants and business plans. Working with individuals, start ups, students in schools, colleges, universities and workplace organisations such as The Prince's Trust. The aim is to help young people realise and release their ambitions and start businesses linked to their hobbies and interests, to improve our economy and create jobs. My angle is encourage something worthwhile that is creative, will help others and to look after their personal wellbeing from the outset. The Prince's Trust is a scheme close to my heart as it was instrumental in kickstarting my own self-employment with grants and support.

Started from Scratch with grant of £300 from Princes Trust. Went on to produce factual event filming, promo vids and obs docs. Overseeing production of over 100 highly creative award winning projects. Roles included everything from client and crew leadership. Tenders, proposals, pre to post production tasks, budgets, risk assessments and HSE. As well as the lovely creative stuff like scripting, filming, editing & delivery of light hearted and humorous content. Employed dozens of people on permanent, casual and freelance basis creating jobs and often the first break for people who have gone on to do well in the industry. All started in and around an objective one / convergence area of South Wales. Also ran a media academy up and down Wales teaching young people filming and editing and production skills. Anytime Films was the very first businesses in South Wales to successfully access the EU Local Investment Fund (LIF) to invest in capital equipment specifically for job creation, which we did. Projects involved Sony / Canon cameras, Final Cut and Adobe Premiere editing, lighting, specialist mounts and rigs, plus additional editing packages including Adobe After FX, 3D Max & Maya.
Activities and Societies: Was officially the most comical male via an award. Didn't change me.
