I joined a large national retail company through Daemon to work on their in-store app & scanner system. The goal was to support a massive projected growth for the platform (around 50 stores to 200+) by helping to design and build out a serverless and container platform for micro-service migration. I was hired by a former colleague on a short-term contract to help kickstart World First’s greenfield AWS migration project, which had failed to get any momentum after several months.
