In September 2020 I was promoted to Finance Manager with 4 direct reports. During this period, the Finance team executed a number of key projects that I was a key contributor to, including: - issuance of the Credit Union's first RMBS securitisation transaction ($107m)- launch of the Credit Union's wholesale NCD program - receiving the Credit Union's first credit rating with S&P Global - issuance of the Credit Union's first FRN instrument - implementation of new APRA capital framework My key responsibilities in this role include: • leading & managing the Finance team, and providing mentorship to junior team members• accurate and timely completion of monthly financial results, KPIs, KRIs and regulatory reporting;• regular forecasting, analysis and commentary provided to senior leaders, committees and the board, including preparation of the assets and liabilities committee pack (ALCO/pricing);• leading ad-hoc finance projects and major tasks including the preparation of budgets and financial statements;• liaising with key 3rd party suppliers, contractors, auditors and consultants; • completion of monthly tax calculations, BAS, FBT, ITR and TOFA;• administration of the ERP system used by the Illawarra Credit Union (Technology One);• administration of service desks for finance, accounts payable and payroll using Jira software;• business partnering to improve performance while operating within risk appetite.
