As a business coach, I get to leverage my knowledge of small business operations, company culture, and team building along with leadership development, to encourage business owners to take the steps needed to get where they want to be. As the COO of an independently owned automotive repair shop, I manage the daily workflow of the vehicles in our care, oversee productivity of 8 employees, including the office and technical staff, prepare estimates, and communicate regularly with all of our clients. In addition to my COO duties, I serve as a shop manager, inventory specialist, and automotive technician where I service automobiles. I manage New Life’s marketing, facilities, human resources, and budget. I utilize various diagnostic tools such as the Snap-On Verus and Autel MaxiSys to troubleshoot automobile malfunctions. I am a self-learner who taught myself how to flash the firmware of General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Hyundai, and Kia automobiles and have trained others in this skillset. I expanded my knowledge and learned how to diagnose and resolve computer network faults in both Ford and Honda vehicles. In 2018, New Life Automotive grossed 1.2 million. From 2010 - 2018, I contributed to a: - 39% increase in gross sales - 27% increase in the average repair order - 16% increase in the number of cars serviced weekly - 4.9-star Google and 5-star Carfax rating customer service ratingIn addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, in 2010, I led the modernization and digital transformation of the business from Quickbooks to an Automotive-specific Point of Sale (POS) system. The POS system revolutionized how the business conducts parts/material management, scheduling, and accounts payable/invoicing.

I was responsible for the repair and maintenance of client's vehicles and the mentorship of multiple intern/apprentice technicians. I serviced American, Japanese, and European cars and light trucks.

I provided oversight of the high-school youth ministry. On a weekly basis, I was the main communicator and I planned the teaching, worship, and events. I led team building exercises and was responsible for the character and leadership development of the students under my care.

I worked alongside, and was mentored by, seasoned technicians in repairing and maintaining client vehicles. We serviced American, Japanese, and European cars and light trucks. I also performed many facilities maintenance tasks such as building improvements that increased the business's aesthetics.
