During my tenure at Syndigo, I have been fortunate to work on many different functional features of our Context Experience Hub application which has provided me a variety of business and technical challenges which has helped me grow in my role. Some of my core responsibilities as a Senior Software Engineer include:- Define and document requirements, write code, write unit tests, and test new and existing functionality.- Maintain current workload and backlog in Jira in alignment with agile and kanban methodologies for SDLC.- Collaborate with teammates across multiple geographic locations and time zones.- Mentor junior engineers via pair programming, foster conversation about identifying business requirements as it relates to technical requirements, and by encouraging best coding practices.- Occasionally, I contribute to our backend in C# where I am capable (e.g. small data migration scripts, contract/model updates, and configuration updates.

As the lead developer, I worked on an ERP system-centric web application used for reporting, managing business workflows, task management and automation, and schedule forecasting. Throughout the course of this project, I focused on delivering functional business requirements, employing monitoring solutions to gain insight into usage and performance, and effectively reduce, and in some instances eliminate, time consuming tasks.Some of my core responsibilities included project planning, testing, creating and managing web server hosts, and communicating status updates to stakeholders. During the development process, I used continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure data integrity and application availability. The source code was managed with Git source control and Azure DevOps tools to provide cohesiveness and internal analytics regarding the aforementioned development items.

As systems specialist, I coordinated, managed, and lead technical support for new products, software, upgrades, and equipment. From a hardware standpoint, I was responsible for setting up user equipment such as desktops, laptops, cell phones, VoIP phones, and any workstation area related needs. In relation to configuring user equipment, I also was responsible for managing and monitoring company-wide software to account for disaster recovery, file versioning, updating operating systems and respective user software, and providing documentation related to these procedures along with any changes affecting the user.

Marquette's Applied Procurement program placed me with the MillerCoors strategic sourcing team. During my time at MillerCoors, I sourced a promotional item and reflected on my experiences with my fellow classmates in the program. We studied relevant case studies and applied our findings to our respective internships over the course of the semester.
