I got a chance to pilot a new program at the Riverwood Conservancy with a goal of talking to park visitors on the trails and letting them know about the conservation's work and efforts. At the end of my contract, I created meaningful connections with over 1000 visitors.-Engaged meaningfully with over 1200 park visitors in just under 2 months.-Present information to small and large groups.-Built programs to engage with park visitors of all ages about Riverwood's ecosystems and wildlife.-Worked with a team of volunteers, scheduled and communicated with them and provided direction and talking points. -Expanded my knowledge of conservation efforts in Ontario and honed my research skills.
