I have been involved in the tourism industry of Nepal (adventure and nature tourism) for well over two decades. This job has allowed me to explore, my own country well familiarizing its nook and corner, with its geographic details and people. Nepal is blessed with unique cultural ethos and rich biodiversity. I am blessed to be in this job! My passion and interest in adventure and nature have always been fresh and keen. As one of the founding member of the company, "Nature-treks.com", I am involved in its operation, marketing and promotion (extremely challenging part of the job). Though, I would be rather out in the nature. And I also lead the special groups into the mountain and nature. We at Nature Treks, also initiated and pioneered the first true model of community-based tourism- Community Eco-lodge trails in Annapurna with the help of locals in 2010.I am also enjoying my involvement in nature conservation organizations such as: Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN), Nepal River Conservation Trust (NRCT), and an electronic bird forum Friendsofbird (FoB) and some other non-profit organization.Bird watching and leading a birding tour that promote their conservation is my interest and support. Hence, in whatever, little way, I am enjoying to work for birds conservation. Himalayan adventure tours, wildlife and birdwatching tours have been my greatest experience and passion of my lifetime!I really hope to spread the message that the, "nature is amazing" which sincerely needs our support for its conservation for the sustainable survival of human being. We must realize that the destruction of nature is a threat to human survival.
